The production workhorse. Servo-driven axes with absolute encoders on linear rails, an epoxy granite frame for damping, and a BT30 spindle that holds finish in aluminum and keeps chips coming in steel. The 16-tool changer and 1,200 IPM rapids keep cycle times where production pricing needs them.

Run on this machine

  • Optic cuts and slide milling — fixtured, probed, cut to print
  • Production billet components in 6061-T6 and 7075
  • Steel and stainless job-shop work
  • Aluminum injection mold cavities for the MicroMolder+
  • Second-op finishing on molded and printed parts
Absolute encoders mean no re-referencing between power cycles — offsets survive the night, and first parts in the morning match last parts from the day before.
